Scott Boggs is the Managing Director of Homeland Security and Public Safety for the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. He retired from Prince William County with over 26 years of service including assignments in Operations, Special Operations, Public Safety Communications and the Fire Marshal’s Office. Scott has been heavily involved in interoperable communications holding local, regional and state positions including Regional Manager of Interoperable Communications, Chair of the Council of Governments Public Safety Communications Committee, a member of the Virginia Statewide Interoperability Executive Committee and the FirstNet Local Single Point of Contact for Prince William County Virginia. Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering and Master’s Degree in Information Assurance from Stratford University.
