Steve Wray

Steve Wray is a vice president and director at Econsult Solutions, Inc. (ESI). Mr. Wray leads projects focused on smart cities, regional economic competitiveness, civic strategy and policy. From 2006 to 2017, Mr. Wray was the executive director of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia. In addition to managing the strategy and operations for the civic leadership organization, he led the development of the ground-breaking World Class Greater Philadelphia regional strategy initiative, funding strategies for Philadelphia’s SEPTA transit system, and was instrumental in the development of regional talent initiatives like Campus Philly, Graduate!Philadelphia and PreK for PA. He holds degrees from Duke University and Carnegie Mellon.
